Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides and no longer pink inside, about 10 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, heavy cream, chicken broth, and sun-dried tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating each breast with the creamy sauce. Simmer for a few more minutes.
- Serve the Chicken Milano garnished with fresh basil leaves.
Notes
If you prefer a less creamy sauce, substitute half of the heavy cream with additional chicken broth.
