- 400 grams of sifted wheat flour
Instructions
- First, place the milk in a bowl, add the yeast, mix and in the meantime also add the sugar and 120 grams of sifted wheat flour, add the salt and continue mixing.
- After that, cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for approximately 10 minutes.
- Soon after, add two eggs, the oil and add the rest of the wheat flour, gradually adding and mixing calmly.
- Now, add the grated coconut to the dough and mix in the dough, but if you want to decorate at the end too, you can save some.
- That done, add the dough in a greased shape and cover with a cloth until this dough rises and doubles in volume.
- As soon as the dough rises, brush the top with beaten egg in a spoon of milk and add the grated coconut if you want it to be golden.
- Finally, take the dough to the preheated oven at 180º for approximately 45 minutes and it's ready.
