Classic Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 6 bell peppers, tops cut, stemmed and seeded
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, cook until onions are translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until beef is fully browned.
- Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stuff the cooked mixture into the hollowed bell peppers. Arrange the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until peppers are tender and filling is heated through, about 45 minutes.
- Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top of each pepper, then return to the oven and bake until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
