- 300 grams of sour cream
- 200 grams of unsalted butter
- 240 grams of sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 packet of cornstarch biscuits/cookies
- 1 unit of vanilla essence (optional)
- 100 grams or more of chocolate ganache
Instructions
- First, place the butter and sugar in a mixer and beat the mixture until smooth. After that, add the yolk and beat again.
- Soon after, add the vanilla essence (if you choose), the milk cream and beat again until you get a smooth cream. (15 minutes)
- Now, pass the cookies in the milk and in a form with a removable background, preferably, place them covering the bottom and forming a type of wall on the sides. Once that's done, use the cream to make a layer at the bottom, over the cookies and also hold the ones on the side in place.
- Once this is done, make a layer of cookie and another of cream until the cream is used up and leave it in the fridge for approximately 5 hours.
- Finally, add the chocolate ganache and your German chocolate pie is ready.
