Ingredients
- 1 package (14.3 oz) of Oreo cookies
- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) of instant chocolate pudding
- 4 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 container (12 oz) of whipped topping, thawed
- Gummy worms for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by hand until they resemble potting soil.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let it set for 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until creamy.
- Fold the whipped topping into the butter and cream cheese mixture.
- To assemble, layer about one-third of the crushed Oreos at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Top with half of the creamy mixture, then with half of the pudding.
- Repeat the layers, ending with the crushed Oreos on top.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Decorate with gummy worms just before serving if desired.
Notes
You can make this dessert a day ahead. Just add the gummy worms just before serving to prevent them from getting hard.
