Chicken pate with cheese
Ingredients
- 700 grams of shredded chicken
- 300 grams of mayonnaise
- 200 grams of cream cheese
- 1 grated carrot
- 50 grams of sliced olives (optional)
- 20 grams or more of parsley, chives, black pepper and oregano (to taste)
Instructions
- First, cook and shred the chicken, season it with chicken broth and also use food coloring or curry to give it a nice color.
- Soon after, add the grated carrot, olives, seasonings (to taste), mayonnaise and cream cheese.
- Finally, mix all the ingredients very well and it's ready.
You may notice that this recipe does not use salt, as the curd is already a little salty, but if you choose to make the chicken pate with sour cream, you will need to add a little salt, as the sour cream is less salty.
This chicken pate, as already mentioned here, is used in many recipes, such as the straw chicken pate, which is also quite popular and can be an interesting option to sell, as it is quick, easy and cheap to make.
Note: This chicken pate lasts approximately 5 days in the fridge if kept in a jar with the lid closed, which is a reasonable time for this recipe.
